An external system needs an update when a merchant record changes. Agree which event sends the update, what the receiving system does with it and how a failed delivery is handled.

Does the existence of an API guarantee a particular integration?
No. Confirm the supported endpoints, event types, mappings and provider requirements for the workflow. Bespoke connections need an agreed scope and acceptance checks.
